T-Bank has introduced its fourth app in three weeks on the App Store — VibroGym App, disguised as a fitness tracker. Prior to this, Apple removed previous versions of the apps, which posed as programs for fishermen, car enthusiasts, and those wishing to create a family tree.
As in previous cases, the main function of the new app is contactless payment via T-Pay over Bluetooth for iPhone users. T-Bank continues to change the "masks" of its apps in order to remain in the AppStore.
Although the interface looks like a fitness tracker, the program has the functionality of a banking application, including payment services. This strategy avoids App Store restrictions, but the apps may be removed again at any time.
T-Bank advises customers to install the app in advance so as not to lose access to T-Pay contactless payment services on iPhone.
