JSC "Samara Metallurgical Plant" filed a lawsuit against JSC "Kazan Helicopter Plant" (KVZ) for 31 million rubles. Data on the case were published in the electronic file of arbitration cases, details of the dispute are not disclosed.
The "Kazan Helicopter Plant" is part of the "Russian Helicopters" holding of Rostec and produces Mi-8, Mi-17, Ansat and other models.
"Samara Metallurgical Plant" specializes in the production of aluminum semi-finished products and cooperates with enterprises in the aviation industry.
KVZ is the only enterprise in the industry in Russia with a full cycle of creating rotorcraft. In total, the plant has built about 12 thousand helicopters, and more than 4 thousand machines have been exported to almost 100 countries. Currently, Ansat, Mi-8 and Mi-17 are being built in the workshops of the enterprise.
