The Belarusian Automobile Plant (BELAZ) celebrated the Day of the Machine Builder on a grand scale. The company opened its doors to visitors, showcasing popular models, including the BELAZ-75711 all-wheel drive two-axle mining dump truck. This was reported by the plant's press service.
The highlight of the celebration was an unusual volleyball match, which took place in the body of the 450-ton world record holder BELAZ-75711 between Belarusian and Russian athletes - a spectacle that has no analogues!
The basic model BELAZ-75710 was introduced in the fall of 2013. The following year, the dump truck set a Guinness record in the EU and CIS countries for cargo transportation (503.5 tons).
The new BELAZ-75711 is considered the largest mining dump truck in the world. It is designed for transporting rock mass in deep quarries and open-pit mining.
