The "Rosel" holding, part of the Rostec State Corporation, has presented a new agricultural drone with elements of artificial intelligence.
The device is equipped with equipment for dropping liquid and granular substances, and is also capable of monitoring the condition of fields in automatic mode. Currently, a prototype is undergoing testing.
The drone uses machine vision to collect data on the state of the crop. The information obtained allows specialists to predict yields, identify problem areas, and assess the level of soil moisture. Intelligent algorithms make field processing accurate and efficient, minimizing the human factor.
The flight characteristics of the device are impressive: speed up to 40 km/h, flight duration of at least 30 minutes, take-off weight — 90 kg, and payload — up to 30 kg. The UAV is equipped with tanks for agricultural liquids and can be used for sowing seeds, applying fertilizers, and treating crops.
The introduction of such drones can significantly reduce the cost of agricultural work, improve the accuracy of resource allocation, and accelerate decision-making in the fields.
