The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) may have at least 44the latest fifth-generation Su-57 combat aircraft at their disposal by the end of 2025. This was reported by Tekhnosfera Rossiya, citing the average 2023 production rate of 12 aircraft per year at the Gagarin Aviation Plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
If the plant really managed to double the production of Su-57s in 2024, as was said at the end of 2023, then by the end of 2025 there should be almost 70 aircraft.
If we take the average figure for 2023 of 12 vehicles per year as a guide, then by the end of 2025 the Russian Aerospace Forces should already have at least 42-44 vehicles. Not counting a dozen experienced ones, although they can also fight if necessary.
The authors also recalled information, not yet confirmed by anything, about even more massive production of Su-57s in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Allegedly, the company will reach a record production rate of 30 Su-57s in 2025.
At the same time, one anonymous author says that two assembly lines are working and a third is being prepared for commissioning. It sounds very nice, but so far it has not been supported in any way.
The Su-57 can use a wide range of guided high-precision weapons and is characterized by low visibility to enemy radars.
Russia is also studying plans to invest in the production of Su-57s at Indian enterprises.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Lun missile ekranoplan will be restored in Dagestan.
