In recent years, Russia has seen a noticeable increase in the popularity of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies among programmers. More and more often, specialists define tasks, and AI generates the necessary content.
According to Artem Sheikin, Deputy Head of the Council for the Development of the Digital Economy and First Deputy Chairman of the Upper House Committee on Constitutional Legislation, with proper use, such mechanisms can greatly facilitate work, but are not able to completely replace qualified specialists.
AI will not replace developers, because a programmer is responsible not only for the code, but also for the architecture and business logic.
At the Eastern Economic Forum, Sheikin stated that measures to regulate AI should be introduced into legislation with caution, taking into account global experience. According to him, Russia is at an initial stage in this matter, and it is difficult to predict how AI technologies will develop in the future.
