Cosmic Success: Russia to Build 600 RD-107A Engines for Soyuz Rockets in 7 Years

A total of 10,000 units have already been produced

Samara-based company UEC-Kuznetsov (part of Rostec) will produce 600 RD-107A engines for Soyuz carrier rockets over the next seven years, according to Dmitry Bakanov, head of Roscosmos.

According to him, the RD-107A is the most demanded engine for Soyuz-2.1. In total, 10,000 units have been produced in the history of the enterprise.

About the RD-107 engine
