The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow has suspended the operation of the Wheely premium taxi service due to violations of anti-terrorism security requirements, according to the text of the 2025 court decision.
The court granted the prosecutor's request and took preliminary protective measures, restricting access to the service's website and mobile application on the AppStore.
The restriction is due to non-compliance with the rules for transferring data about drivers online to the GIS ERNIS. These measures are aimed at ensuring passenger safety and compliance of drivers with established standards.
Wheely provides premium cars with drivers and operates in Paris, London, Dubai, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi. Users can place an order through the mobile application for Android and iOS.
