The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow has suspended the operation of the premium taxi service Wheely due to violations of anti-terrorism security requirements, according to the text of the court decision of 2025.
The court granted the prosecutor's request and took preliminary protective measures, restricting access to the service's website and mobile application on the AppStore.
The restriction is due to non-compliance with the rules for online transfer of driver data to the GIS ERNIS. These measures are aimed at ensuring passenger safety and compliance of drivers with established standards.
Wheely provides premium cars with drivers and operates in Paris, London, Dubai, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi. Users can place an order through the mobile application for Android and iOS.
