A new device for guaranteed detonation of the warhead of a kamikaze drone upon collision with a surface was presented by Eltech-Yug at the Drone Expo 2025 exhibition in Kazan.
The device allows initiating an explosion upon collision of any part of the drone with a surface — be it the side or the rear. The initiator needs only one strike to initiate detonation using an electric detonator, and it can be installed on any part of the munition — the main thing is that there is vibration from the impact.
He emphasized that existing munition detonators using the contact detonation principle are vulnerable to misses. An inaccurate hit may result in the warhead not detonating. For safety, the device is equipped with a safety mechanism.
