Max messenger will provide its users with the ability to check the reputation of numbers using Kaspersky Lab technologies. Representatives of the press service shared this information.
The integration of technologies into Max will provide users with information about the number's reputation, organization category, and its name when communicating in the messenger
The Caller ID from Kaspersky Lab will automatically check the phone numbers of users in Max — the technology will provide information about the number's reputation, organization category, and its name when communicating in the messenger.
The technology will provide Max users with an additional level of protection against telephone fraud. The solution will identify potentially fraudulent numbers using a set of technologies, including several machine learning models.
Users also report that MAX may block an account immediately after creation if the "Name" field contains a nickname or any other information other than the name. After the first violation, access can be restored, and a repeated violation may lead to permanent blocking.
