Vladmorrybport intends to increase the annual container transshipment capacity to 700 thousand TEU by 2027. The growth will be possible thanks to the commissioning of two new container sites and a "dry" terminal in 2025, the total capacity of which will be about 5 thousand TEU.
According to Vyacheslav Kvashnin, Deputy General Director for Commercial Operations, capacity expansion is part of an investment program that includes the purchase of new equipment, modernization of railway infrastructure and the introduction of digital technologies. In 2023, the port has already commissioned a site with an area of 18 thousand square meters, which allowed to increase transshipment by 225 thousand TEU in 2024.
The increase in capacity is also aimed at improving service: speeding up the processing of ships and optimizing logistics. Digital solutions have been introduced for clients, including a mobile application with routes for drivers and an online system for coordinating dangerous goods.
Vladmorrybport is one of the key ports of the Far East, specializing in the transshipment of fish products and container cargo.
