A unique RAF-21A "Aphalina" minivan has been put up for sale in Moscow.
Created in the 1970s by self-taught engineer Alexei Arsenyev. This unique car is assembled on the basis of the RAF-977D minibus chassis and features an original body. It is almost entirely assembled from GAZ-21 "Volga" (sedan) and GAZ-22 (station wagon) panels.
The minivan's decorative elements were borrowed from GAZ-12, GAZ-13 "Chaika" and ZIL government limousines. The car has a three-row interior and two fuel tanks with a total volume of 80 liters.
A 75-horsepower engine from the GAZ-21 "Volga" is installed under the hood, which can be accessed from the passenger compartment. The gearbox is a three-speed manual.
The car was in the "Moscow Transport Museum" for a long time. Then it was bought out. In 2024, the owner tried to sell the minivan for 8 million 990 thousand rubles. Now the price of the unique car is 5 million 990 thousand rubles.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a GAZ-13 "Chaika" in perfect condition was put up for sale in Kaliningrad.
