New Compact Electric Bus to be Tested in the Capital

Maximum travel range on a single charge reaches 150 kilometers

A new electric bus, the Gazelle e-City, designed for efficient operation in confined spaces, is being tested in Moscow. Thanks to its compact size, it will be able to operate on narrow streets inaccessible to larger buses, as well as serve routes with a small number of passengers.

We are starting testing of a mini-electric bus that is suitable for operating on narrow carriageways. This innovative Russian-made vehicle can accommodate 14 passengers. After testing in various weather conditions, we will consider purchasing this model to replace small-class buses
Maksim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow

The new mini-electric bus offers comfortable accommodation for 14 people. Thanks to improved electronics and software, it provides a range of up to 150 km on a single charge. The cabin maintains an optimal temperature thanks to the climate control system, and wide doors with opening buttons help to retain heat. For passengers with disabilities, there is a folding ramp and a driver call button. In addition, the electric bus has a spacious area for transporting strollers, bicycles, or bulky luggage.

The Gazelle e-City electric bus is a low-floor, small-class electric bus designed for operation on urban routes with low passenger traffic and for serving resort areas.
