Scientists from the Siberian Federal University have developed an installation for continuous casting of aluminum alloys. It converts molten metal, including waste, into rods, wires, and other long products. The technology eliminates the ingot creation stage, reducing time and energy consumption.
We have filed an application for two patents, as the method and device for continuous casting-pressing of rods from aluminum alloys have been developed for the first time.
Experts note the economic benefits of the technology. It speeds up production, reduces energy consumption, and allows recycling of waste, such as chips and defective rods. This reduces the cost of production.
