Employees of Special Design Bureau No. 1 (SKB-1 is part of the military-industrial holding company "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant", KMZ) have developed a special "Sapphire-M" workboat. This is a universal vessel for performing various tasks.
The boat is ideal for diving operations, delivering personnel, equipment, or building materials to hard-to-reach places on small rivers, canals, and waterways. The boat can also tow vessels of its own or smaller size.
Characteristics of the "Sapphire-M" boat:

- can carry up to 10 people and 2500 kg of cargo
- equipped with a 320 hp diesel engine
- water jet propulsion
- speed — up to 25 km/h
