From September 1, 2025, students, parents, and teachers of educational institutions in Tatarstan will begin transitioning to the Max messenger. This was reported by TASS with reference to the regional Ministry of Education and Science.
According to the approved roadmap, the transition will take place in stages and will be completed by November 1. At the first stage, employees of the ministry and education department will start using the messenger. Then, the administrations of schools, kindergartens, and institutions of secondary vocational education will connect to the system. Parents and students will be the last to join Max. All chats in the "Sferum" educational platform in the VK ecosystem are planned to be closed in November.
The main functions of "Sferum," including the "Pushkin Card," "Awards," and "Peremenka" services, are already available in Max. A safe mode is also provided: only users who are in the child's contacts will be able to communicate with the child. Access settings can only be changed with a PIN code known to the parents. Technical preparations for the transition are currently underway.
