The Solaris NS complex, previously announced by the Sozvezdie concern, is designed to protect the territories of industrial enterprises and military facilities from drones. It has proven its ability to suppress drone signals precisely, without resorting to "bombardment" across the entire range, Rostec said.
The complex was developed by the Rosel holding, and testing was carried out using the "drones versus EW" model. The developers simulated the process of detecting and suppressing drones, including FPVs and Mavics. The new product has demonstrated the ability to selectively suppress signals without affecting the rest of the radio range.
"Solaris NS" is a modernized version that combines the functionality of two previous products, "Solaris-O" for drone detection and "Solaris-N" for suppression.
The complex consists of a set of detectors and jammers mounted on a four-meter mast. It can be installed both on the ground and on stationary towers and roofs of buildings.
Earlier www1.ru reported that T-80BVM tanks stopped "flying": they began to be used in a new way.
