Autonomous launchers of the mobile ground-based missile system (PGRK) "Yars" were deployed on combat patrol routes in the Yoshkar-Ola missile division. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Strategic missile soldiers are practicing tasks and scenarios, including performing maneuvering actions on combat patrol routes.
Servicemen of the "Yars" PGRK units are equipping field positions, organizing camouflage of equipment, and marching distances of up to 100 km. In addition, soldiers are protecting missile systems from mock saboteurs.
"Yars" (a modification of "Topol-M") was developed at the Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology. The missile division includes 3 autonomous launchers and a mobile command post on a high- проходимости chassis.
