High-Precision Retribution: Russian FABs with UMPC to Become Invulnerable Thanks to New Module

The "Kometa-M" modules with a 24-beam antenna system are under development

New interference-resistant satellite data reception modules "Kometa" on bombs with universal planning and correction modules (UMPC) are very difficult to jam. The author of the Telegram channel Fighterbomber and former military pilot speculated about the invulnerability of domestic high-precision weapons.

According to him, the enemy cannot yet have a significant impact on the new "Komets", but isolated cases of successful jamming have already been recorded.

The author suggested that Russian designers will soon develop a modified version of the "Kometa" with a 24-beam antenna system.

The "Kometa" modules use several receivers to compare the angles and strength of incoming signals. This makes it possible to distinguish false signals from interference posed by electronic warfare systems.
