Rostec expects that the first deliveries of MC-21 aircraft to airlines will begin in 2026. This was announced by the state corporation.
Currently, there are more than 20 aircraft in various stages of readiness at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant.
We are working under tight deadlines, as we understand that МС-21 is awaited in airlines. Therefore, in parallel with certification, we are preparing for mass production - there are already more than 20 aircraft in various stages of readiness at the plant. We expect that deliveries of new aircraft to customers will begin next year.
The Aeroflot Group expects to receive the first serial MC-21 aircraft in 2026, noted Sergey Alexandrovsky, General Director of the airline.
