The vessel is designed for operations in waters with an increased threat of drone strikes

The Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) holding has developed a new 12-meter PK-1200 boat with a built-in "Hood" K-12 electronic warfare (EW) system. This was announced by the holding's managing director, Mikhail Danilenko.

The vessel is capable of speeds up to 70 km/h and is designed for operations in waters with an increased threat of drone strikes.

The boats can be used to deliver personnel, ammunition, and food.

The boat is made in a rigid-modular design from aluminum-magnesium alloy AMg5 with a skin thickness: bottom - 6 mm, side - 4 mm, wheelhouse - 3 mm. The vessel is equipped with cathodic protection.

The crew consists of two people. The boat can take on board 12 people and 2000 kilograms of cargo.

  • Vessel length — 12.7 meters
  • Width — 3.7 meters
  • Displacement — 11.5 tons
  • Seaworthiness - wave up to 1.2 meters
