The Russian VK-800 turboprop engine is being developed by Ural Civil Aviation Plant JSC for such UZGA JSC projects as the LMS-901 Baikal light multi-purpose aircraft, the UTS-800 training aircraft, the Russian-Belarusian LMS-192 Osvey regional aircraft, and the re-engining of localized L-410 aircraft.

The development of the VK-800 engine began in 2019, the gas generator was assembled in 2022, and factory refinement tests began in 2023.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Tu-214 is alive, not dead: commercial deliveries of the aircraft will start in 2026.
