Increasing the production volume of the Il-76 military transport aircraft will require an investment of approximately 46 billion rubles, according to the Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Anton Alikhanov.
According to him, the first stage involves approximately 26 billion rubles.
This is a stage that will allow us to almost double the production volume at "Aviastar." And another 20-21 billion rubles is the second stage of increasing production capacity, which will allow us to reach 18 units per year. But this is not the limit.
Alikhanov added that "Aviastar" has already done a significant amount of work. Previously, the plant produced only one aircraft per year.
We have increased production to seven this year. And considering the needs of the Ministry of Defense and the fact that the whole world wants to buy from us, and the 76th aircraft, let me repeat, it is simply the best in this segment. They are eagerly awaiting the increase in our production capacity in China, and not only there, in a large number of countries.
