Engineers from workshop 206 at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant (IAZ) have mastered the assembly of the onboard electrical network for the Yak-130M aircraft. As part of the aircraft's modernization, many of its systems are being improved.
Currently, IAZ is constructing three prototypes for factory and state tests.
Yulia Morozova, the head of the technical bureau of workshop 206, which is responsible for the assembly of the electrical network, noted that the units of the power supply system have been radically updated.
The electrical network has also changed: all types of wires have been replaced, they have become lighter, and the insulation, while maintaining reliability, has become thinner.
The difficulties of implementing the modernization are being resolved jointly with the design department 306, the assembly and installation workshops, the test production, and the Yakovlev Engineering Center.
For the first time, a demonstration model of the Yak-130M was presented at the "Army-2024" forum.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Tu-214 is alive, not dead: commercial deliveries of the aircraft will start in 2026.
