Reverse engineering of the centrifugal pump completed at KMZ

The company's specialists have developed new design documentation for the efficient operation of the device

Employees of SKB-2 KMZ successfully carried out reverse engineering of the centrifugal pump, which made it possible to create new design documentation for an important hydraulic device.

A centrifugal pump is a mechanism that converts mechanical energy of rotation of the impeller into hydraulic energy of the fluid flow. When the wheel rotates, the liquid entering through the suction pipe, under the action of centrifugal force, moves to the periphery, ensuring efficient pumping.

One of the key features of the new pump is its ability to operate in "dry running" mode. The device can function even in the absence of hydromixture. The cooling system supplies lubricant to the hardened mechanical seals through a special gland.

The technical characteristics of the pump are impressive: the maximum rotation speed of the impeller reaches 1800 rpm, head – 100 meters, and flow rate — 300 m³/hour. With these parameters, the pump turned out to be a reliable and efficient solution for various hydraulic systems.
