The Tatarstan sports and technical club "Naikom extreme" and the Belarusian "Motovelo Plant" have announced the start of cooperation to create inexpensive motorcycles for beginners. Nail Khubbatullin, President of the Motorcycle Federation of Tatarstan, announced that the agreement has already been signed. As part of the project, a MINSK-branded cross motorcycle will be developed, which is planned to be tested at the training ground in Naberezhnye Chelny.
A prototype of the new motorcycle should be ready by August 2025. Khubbatullin emphasized that the main goal is to create affordable models that will be significantly cheaper than those existing on the market. In the future, it is also planned to develop an enduro motorcycle, which will be aimed at beginner riders.
In addition, the possibility of holding an international motocross race, which may take place in 2026, is being discussed. The event will be an important step for popularizing мотоспорта in the region. It is important to note that the current catalog of "Motovelo Plant" already has an X250 enduro model, but details about which motorcycle will become the basis for new models have not yet been disclosed.
