Russia has developed the S-70 heavy strike drone "Okhotnik", which can work in tandem with the Su-57 fighter. Render photos of the new model have appeared on the Web.
The characteristics of the "Okhotnik" are officially unknown. In open sources, it is argued that the length of the "Okhotnik" is 14 m, the take-off weight is 25 tons, and the wingspan is 19 m. The device was developed according to the "flying wing" scheme using materials and technologies that reduce its radar and thermal signature.
The flight range of the S-70 is 5,000 km, at low altitude the "Okhotnik" is capable of developing a supersonic speed of 1,400 km/h. The S-70 is capable of climbing to a height of up to 18 km.
It was also assumed that the "Okhotnik" could receive a Kh-58 supersonic anti-radar air-to-surface missile with a range of 280 km to destroy enemy radars. Against targets at sea - a low-altitude subsonic X-35 missile.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Uralvagonzavod announced an all-Russian vote for a new name for the BMPT Terminator.
