A detachment of Pacific Fleet ships, consisting of the corvettes "Rezky", "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" (Project 20380) and the medium sea tanker "Pechenga", arrived in Jakarta port, the fleet's press service reported.
The sailors will participate in events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Indonesia. The crews of the corvettes "Rezky" and "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" will conduct maneuvering and communication training jointly with Indonesian Navy personnel.
The press service of the Pacific Fleet added that the Russian Ambassador to Indonesia, Sergei Tolchenov, visited the Russian ships. Indonesian Navy personnel and local residents will also board the corvettes.
