Russian tanks are superior to Western ones in resistance in real combat due to additional multi-layered protection. This was stated in the state corporation Rostec.
There are many examples when domestic vehicles do not lose their combat capability when hit by multiple anti-tank weapons.
To enhance the protection of the crew, specialists from Uralvagonzavod (part of Rostec) have implemented many engineering solutions. Thanks to them, the commander, gunner and driver can now feel more confident when performing combat missions.
Earlier on Monday, Uralvagonzavod sent a batch of new T-80BVM tanks to the Russian troops, refined taking into account the wishes of the soldiers. The updated "eighty" features a refined gas turbine engine, an improved 125-mm gun, and a new multi-channel sighting system.
The armor of the vehicle has been reinforced with all-aspect dynamic protection and anti-cumulative grilles. The tank is also equipped with serial "barbecues" to protect the turret from drones.
