The world's first optionally piloted aircraft (OPA) of the helicopter type, Fly-Truck, was presented at the International Exhibition of Armaments and Military Equipment MILEX 2025.
The development belongs to the Belarusian design bureau "Unmanned Helicopters" (UAVHELI). The company has signed a contract for the supply of 20 Sky-Truck unmanned aerial systems to KB "Raskat" (part of the holding "Vnukovo Aircraft Repair Plant"). This was announced by Vladimir Chudakov, founder and general designer of KB "Unmanned Helicopters."
The Sky-Truck aviation complex will be produced with the participation of Russian specialists.
The main unit is the gearbox. It will be of Russian production, but of Belarusian design. But the entire structure, electronics, and mathematics were developed at the design bureau in Belarus.
Sky-Truck is the world's first optionally piloted helicopter-type aircraft. The maximum take-off weight of the drone is 3 thousand kg, and the flight duration is up to 5 hours.
The flight range is up to 360 km with a payload of 200 kg. When flying shorter distances, the drone can carry a payload of up to 500 kg, and the maximum flight speed is 180 km/h.
The helicopter is equipped with a hybrid power plant based on a turboshaft engine. Aviation kerosene is used as fuel.
