Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the Marshal of the Soviet Union G.K. Zhukov Prize in the field of weapons development to the developers of the latest shells for the heavy flamethrower systems TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" and TOS-2 "Tosochka". The decree is posted on the official website for the publication of legal acts.

The prize was received by Mikhail Alekseevich Vaskin, chief designer of the direction of interspecific weapons elements of JSC NPO "SPLAV", Sergei Olegovich Zakharov, chief designer of the scientific and theoretical direction, Pavel Petrovich Lakhov, head of technological department No. 31 of the technology department, and Igor Ivanovich Khlebnikov, chief designer of the direction of multiple launch rocket systems.
