The number of combat aircraft in service with the Naval Aviation of the Russian Navy has become known. The data, with reference to a foreign source, was cited by the Tekhnosfera Rossiya publication.
In particular, according to preliminary data, the Navy has 18 MiG-31BM units, 17 Su-33 carrier-based aircraft, 22 MiG-29K, about 30 Su-30s of various versions, and 26 Su-24s of all versions.
Anti-submarine and patrol aircraft are represented by 22 Tu-142 units, 22 Il-38, 6 Be-12, 1-3 Be-200, 3 An-12, 1 Il-18D.
Special aircraft, including electronic reconnaissance aircraft — 4 Il-2о/Il-22.
Transport tasks are performed by: 2 An-12, 25 An-26, 6 An-72, 4 An-140, 10 Tu-134 and 2 Tu-154.
