Russian military personnel began launching the latest Molniya-2 kamikaze drones with TM-62M mines as a striking part in a new way. This was reported by Zvezda.
Launching the Molniya-2 from the ground is impossible due to the significant weight of the TM-62M mine — about 10 kg.
To compensate for this, the device is launched from the upper levels of multi-story buildings used as launch pads.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation noted that managing the Molniya-2 requires extensive experience in controlling aircraft and special knowledge in the field of aerodynamics.
With each new launch, the fighters change their base point, which allows the calculations to remain unnoticed by the enemy. The range of the strike drone is up to 50 km.
