The Nizhny Novgorod company "Universal NN" is considering the possibility of launching the production of an unusual nine-seater minibus based on the all-wheel drive UAZ "Profi". The car is focused on tourist routes in difficult areas where cars cannot cope.
The first prototype was created — an open-top convertible for two-thirds of the body, accommodating up to nine passengers. Three rows of seats are located in the open air, and another seat is located next to the driver in a single-row cab. At the same time, all work on the conversion was carried out in strict compliance with current technical requirements.
«Универсал НН» is studying demand and considering the feasibility of producing a small series of such cars for the needs of tour operators working in regions with limited transport accessibility.
