The Nizhny Novgorod company "Universal NN" is considering the possibility of launching the production of an unusual nine-seat minibus based on the all-wheel drive UAZ "Profi". The car is aimed at tourist routes in difficult-to-reach areas where passenger cars cannot cope.
The first prototype created is a convertible open for two-thirds of the body, accommodating up to nine passengers. Three rows of seats are located in the open air, and there is one more seat next to the driver in a single-row cab. At the same time, all work on the conversion was carried out in strict compliance with current technical requirements.
«Универсал НН» is studying the demand and considering the feasibility of producing a small series of such cars for the needs of tour operators working in regions with limited transport accessibility.
Earlier www1.ru reported that FAS will check UAZ due to a sharp increase in car prices.
