The Russian company Zala Aero has developed a new generation of Lancet loitering munitions. The new strike drones are named "Product 51" and "Product 52", and they differ from their predecessors in "intellectual abilities".
The munitions have undergone a deep modernization of the software and hardware components. They are equipped with a new intelligent guidance system and new communication channels.
Zala added that an important advantage of the modernized "Product 51" is the launch using a compact launcher. This significantly reduced the preparation time for launch and ensured the mobility of calculations, thereby increasing safety.
The military uses "Lancets" as a high-precision long-range weapon. Loitering munitions are used for counter-battery warfare and the destruction of enemy electronic warfare systems, as well as other targets in the rear areas.
