According to radar signatures from open sources, the most stealthy fighter to date is still the F-22 Raptor, with an effective scattering area (RCS) of up to 0.0001 m².
In second place is the F-35 with an RCS of 0.0015 to 0.005 m², in third place is the J-20 with an RCS of up to 0.05 m², and only in fourth place is the Russian Su-57 with an RCS of 0.1 to 1 m².
According to analysts, the widely spaced engines of the Su-57, as well as the rougher coating, are more susceptible to radar exposure, which, compared to the F-22 and F-35, adversely affects stealth in both the IR range and the radar spectrum.
They recalled that Russia is currently testing modified "flat" engine nozzles for the Su-57, similar to the thrust vector nozzle design of the F-22, which could improve rear stealth.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that KMZ has repaired a diesel engine for a military ship of the Navy.
