The "Yakovlev" company (part of the United Aircraft Corporation) has put into operation a pneumatic frame hangar of a linear maintenance station at the Kurumoch International Airport in Samara.
The facility has become the largest of its kind in Europe. It will organize maintenance of aircraft, including Russian short-haul SSJ-100 aircraft, and in the future, medium-haul MC-21 aircraft.
The first aircraft to undergo maintenance will be an SSJ-100 aircraft of the "Russia" airline. The aircraft will undergo 4Y-check maintenance — periodic maintenance.
The "Yakovlev" company not only builds high-quality and reliable equipment, but also creates ground infrastructure to ensure the smooth operation of domestic aircraft. The opening of a new maintenance station is another opportunity to improve interaction with operators and ensure a high-quality level of aircraft maintenance. To date, the number of linear stations servicing SSJ-100 in Russia has reached seven. And we will work to ensure that this number continues to grow.
Earlier www1.ru reported that there are no foreign parts left in the SJ-100 aircraft.
