The Russian Armed Forces are increasingly using the KamAZ-6350 high-mobility truck tractor with the K-5350 armored cabin. This is reported by the Polish publication Defence 24.
Booking is the solution to the problem of losing vehicles due to being hit by artillery shell fragments. Prior to this, military personnel installed corrugated metal sheets, steel plates and even logs on vehicles.
The new armored cabins differ somewhat from previous versions. The headlights are now installed lower, the air intakes are located on the sides of the cabin, and the windshield is divided into two segments, enclosing them in a reinforced frame. The armor has a modular design to adapt it to the vehicle body.
