Insurance companies have announced the estimated cost of OSAGO and casco insurance policies for the new Lada Iskra model, which is expected to go on sale in the spring of 2025.
The calculations used the basic configuration of the car with a 1.6-liter engine producing 90 hp and a manual transmission, the cost of which, according to preliminary data, will be about 1.2 million rubles.
For an experienced driver from Moscow, the cost of an OSAGO policy ranges from 4,500 to 6,245 rubles. A casco policy will cost in the range of 25–27 thousand rubles.
For a young driver from St. Petersburg (3 years of driving experience without accidents), insurance will be much more expensive. The expected prices for OSAGO range from 9,000 to almost 14,000 rubles, and for casco — from 28 to 61 thousand rubles.
The prices are preliminary, as sales of Lada Iskra have not yet begun. Insurers will set the final rates later, after the model is released on the market.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the first Lada Iskra passed inspection and went to dealerships.
