The construction of the dry cargo vessel "Leonid Bagrov" of project RSD71 has been completed at the production site of "Okskaya Sudoverf" in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
The dry cargo vessel "Leonid Bagrov" is part of a series of mixed "river-sea" navigation vessels, which is a continuation of the RSD59 project.
The new generation vessels are distinguished by a spacious cargo hold, which is 6 meters longer than the hold of their predecessors.
The construction of the series is carried out under the technical supervision of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. The RSD71 project was developed by the Marine Engineering Bureau.
