Specialists of Oka Shipyard loaded the main engine onto the multipurpose dry cargo vessel of the RSD59ARC project, construction number 5921. This is the third vessel in the series, which is being built by order of the "Baltic Shipping Company" (Kaliningrad Region). This was reported by the shipyard's press service.
Workers installed a 50-ton power plant in the design position. The power of this engine would be enough to ensure the operation of an oil pumping station or a metallurgical plant.
Characteristics of vessels of the RSD59ARC project: length overall — 141 m, width — 16.9 m, board height — 6.8 m, draft in the river — 3.6 m, engine power — 2 by 1600 kW, speed — 11 knots.
