The updated UAZ "Pickup" will appear in late 2025, the car will receive a new diesel engine and a six-speed gearbox. This was announced by the General Director of UAZ, Alexey Spirin.
According to him, in 2025, UAZ will completely update the model range, with the exception of SGR cars — "Bukhanka" and "Golovastik".
In addition to external updates on the "Pickup", the "Patriot" is also awaiting a turbodiesel and an alternative 6-speed "mechanics" of domestic production instead of the current imported "five-speed".
Also, the all-terrain vehicles will feature an updated ZMZ-409 gasoline engine. First, the technical solutions will be tested on rear-wheel drive "Profi", then on all-wheel drive "Profi" — the cars will go into production before the end of the half-year.
