Approximately 30% of Russian residents believe that the emergence of robots with artificial intelligence that could do housework would free them from many household chores. According to a survey conducted by Development-South, about a third of respondents are confident that such robots would significantly ease their daily lives.
In addition, 11.4% of respondents noted that such assistants would allow them to save time that could be spent on other things.
Approximately 9% of respondents would like to use a robot to help them repair their homes, and 6% of respondents are ready to entrust a robot with the care of their children. Another 15.8% of respondents would like to use the services of a robot to help the elderly and people with disabilities.
However, 29.8% of respondents are sure that they will become lazy if robots appear in their lives.
Survey participants noted that robots are especially useful for freeing people from household chores. This answer was given by 57% of respondents. Also, 12.3% of respondents are ready to completely transfer the checking of their children's homework to artificial intelligence, 14.9% of respondents want the robot to take care of pets, flowers, shoes and clothes.
Only 3.5% of Russians are ready to entrust artificial intelligence with cooking. Interestingly, almost 10% of respondents would like to have a robot to discuss news and maintain a conversation.
