The Chinese company Haval, which produces crossovers at a plant in the Tula region, has begun negotiations with the Russian company "Avtoelectronica" on the supply of electronic components.
The Kaluga plant, which specializes in the production of automotive electronics, can provide Haval with sensors, relays, voltage regulators and power steering amplifiers. This will increase the share of local components in Haval cars, which is in line with the import substitution strategy.
At the same time, the automaker is expanding its production capacity. A cluster for the production of auto components is being built next to the existing plant in the Uzlovaya industrial park. Body parts, power units, suspension elements, interior and electrical components will be produced on an area of 20 thousand square meters. Investments in the project are estimated at 3 billion rubles.
