Soyuz-2.1a rocket launches Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft into orbit

The launch took place from site No. 31 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome

The Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket has launched the Soyuz MS-27 manned spacecraft into orbit, according to a Roscosmos broadcast.

Soyuz-2.1a with the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at 8:47:15 Moscow time.

All stages separated normally. The third stage separation occurred as planned at 526 seconds. The solar panels and antennas have been deployed — the spacecraft is on its way to the ISS.

The flight to the International Space Station will follow a two-orbit rendezvous scheme — the spacecraft is expected to dock with the Rassvet module of the Russian segment of the station at approximately 12:04 Moscow time.

The crew's return to Earth is scheduled for December 9. During the mission, 50 scientific experiments are planned, including two new ones. In addition, cosmonauts Sergei Ryzhikov and Alexei Zubritsky will perform two spacewalks in October.
