Russia is ahead of NATO countries in terms of production of heavy flamethrower systems (TOS). This was announced by the industrial director of the Rostec weapons cluster, Bekhan Ozdoev.
There are no comparable analogues in the world and in particular in Western countries. In this segment of weapons, we have moved forward, leaving NATO countries far behind.
The state corporation clarified that "Tosochka" has increased firing range. The updated fire control system allows you to hit positions precisely, guaranteeing the destruction of enemy targets.
Also, the wheeled base allows the TOS-2 to occupy and leave a firing position faster, increasing the survivability of the machine in counter-battery combat.
