Russia is ahead of NATO countries in terms of production of heavy flamethrower systems (TOS). This was announced by the industrial director of the Rostec weapons cluster, Bekhan Ozdoev.
There are no comparable analogues in the world, and in Western countries in particular. In this segment of weapons, we have moved forward, leaving NATO countries far behind.
The state corporation clarified that "Tosochka" has an increased firing range. The updated fire control system allows you to hit positions point-by-point, guaranteeing the destruction of enemy objects.
Also, the wheeled base allows the TOS-2 to occupy and leave a firing position faster, increasing the survivability of the vehicle in counter-battery combat.
