The report published by the 38th NIIII BT of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation states the superiority in key parameters of the American M2A2 Bradley ODS SA over the Russian BMP-3. The Telegram channel "Military Informant" drew attention to the research of the military institute.
According to experts' conclusions, the BMP M2A2 Bradley ODS SA surpasses the BMP-3 in mine, shell, and bullet resistance, firepower, ergonomics, and operational and technical characteristics.
The Russian combat vehicle outperforms the American one "in range, dynamics, the ability to overcome water obstacles afloat, and cross-country ability, as well as due to the presence of a 100-millimeter gun."
Based on the results of the study, the authors offered recommendations on the design of promising Russian combat vehicles.
