В России начнут строить малотоннажный рыболовный флот из композитов

The enterprise will operate on the basis of the Vympel Shipyard

An experimental production center for small-tonnage fishing fleet based on composite materials will be created at the Vympel shipyard (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation) in the Yaroslavl region. This was reported by the press service of the All-Russian Association of Fishery Enterprises.

Composite materials are currently used in aviation and mechanical engineering, as well as military shipbuilding. A number of fishing companies operate vessels made of imported composite materials.

During the meeting of the working group on the construction of innovative small and small-tonnage fishing vessels from composite materials, it was decided that an experimental production center for small-tonnage fishing fleet based on composite materials would be created at Vympel.

Participants of the meeting noted that in order to develop the parameters of future projects, it is necessary to involve potential customers and experts in the field of fisheries.
