Sales of the Lada Niva Sport, the most powerful version of the "Niva" available in mass production, will begin at the beginning of next month, namely on April 5.
Today, VAZ dealers were given the start date for sales of the Niva Sport model: April 5, on the "Niva"'s birthday.
Lada Niva Sport is an improved version of the "Niva", which differs not only in higher power, but also in an updated suspension, as well as a modernized interior with a single transfer case control lever.
The car will receive a reinforced body and new engines: in the basic version, a 1.8-liter engine with a capacity of 90 horsepower will be installed, which will completely replace the old engine from "Zhiguli". In the top version called Silk Way, a boosted 1.8-liter engine with a capacity of 144 horsepower will be installed. However, it is not yet clear whether the Silk Way version will be available immediately upon launch of sales.
The new Russian Lada Niva Sport SUV, which will go on sale in 2025, will cost about 1.6 million rubles.
