Servicemen of the 231st Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Belarus used Soviet self-propelled guns 2S5 "Hyacinth-S" and towed howitzers 2A65 "Msta-B" in exercises. The maneuvers took place at the 227th combined arms training ground "Borisovsky". This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
The artillerymen hit targets with high-explosive fragmentation projectiles from 152-mm towed howitzers 2A65 "Msta-B" at a range of up to 9 km. Also, the servicemen used high-precision Krasnopol ammunition at a range of more than 14 km.
A control exercise on special training with a battery of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) took place at the training ground. The missilemen destroyed targets at a distance of up to 16 km. The servicemen used drones for targeting and adjusting fire.
